Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok – Chum Saeng – Palm Sugar Village – Two-Colored Rivers – Chao Phraya Origins

  • 06:30 hrs: Meet at the designated meeting point. Our staff will assist you with your luggage.

  • 07:00 hrs: Depart from Bangkok to Nakhon Sawan by VIP air-conditioned van. Fresh water will be served on board.

  • 11:00 hrs: Arrive at Koei Chai Community, Chum Saeng District. Experience the traditional lifestyle of palm sugar makers.

    • Watch skilled locals climb palm trees 

    • Learn the process of simmering palm sap into sugar 

    • Try making palm sugar yourself 

    • Taste freshly cooked warm palm nectar straight from the pot

  • Lunch: Enjoy a local-style Pad Thai (Chum Saeng recipe) with unique ingredients and flavors, or savor a variety of freshwater fish dishes at a local restaurant. (Meal 1)

  • Afternoon: Visit Wat Koei Chai Nuea (Wat Borommathat) to witness the stunning meeting point of two rivers — the Yom and Nan Rivers — forming the Chao Phraya River.

    • Learn about Thai spiritual practices 

    • Pay respect to Phra Buddha Srisanpetch (Luang Pho Rungchai), believed to bring good health 

  • Continue to the Giant Crocodile King Museum (Phaya Dang Koei Chai), featuring:

    • Local legends 

    • Crocodile species from around the world 

    • Cultural artifacts 

  • Stroll through the 100-Year-Old Chum Saeng Riverside Market

    • Experience nostalgic Thai riverside life 

    • Taste local snacks and street food 

  • Visit Chum Saeng Railway Station, a charming community landmark reflecting traditional Thai life along the railway.

  • Dinner: Enjoy a Hainanese Chinese-style dinner at a local restaurant. (Meal 2) 

  • Overnight at Good Nakhonsawan Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Bueng Boraphet – Fishing Culture – Chinese Shrine – City Panorama

  • Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. (Meal 3)

  • Depart to Bueng Boraphet, the largest freshwater lake in Thailand (over 130,000 rai). Take a traditional long-tail boat (with life jackets provided):

    • Observe local fishermen’s daily life 

    • Learn traditional fishing techniques 

    • Hear stories from local communities 

    • Discover native fish species and ecosystems 

  • Continue to Nakhon Sawan city. Visit the sacred 130-year-old Chinese shrine (Chao Pho Thepharak – Goddess Tubtim Shrine), the spiritual heart of Pak Nam Pho community.

    • Learn about Thai-Chinese beliefs 

    • Experience traditional prayer rituals 

  • Lunch: Enjoy the famous fish ball noodle soup, a signature dish of Pak Nam Pho, at a renowned local restaurant.

  • Afternoon: Visit the Nakhon Sawan Observation Tower for a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the city and river landscape.

  • 18:00 hrs.: Arrive back in Bangkok safely.
